As a precursor to the Peoria Bach Festival 2010, the Trinity Concert Series presents The Baroque Artists of Champaign Urbana in an all Bach concert. Featured on this concert will be the Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B Minor for flute and orchestra, the delightful Missa brevis in A Major, and, in commemoration of the season of Pentecost, the double chorus motet "Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf" ("The Spirit Helps Us in Our Weakness"). The concert will be conducted by Dr. Chester Alwes who is a Professor of Choral Music at the University of Illinois, Champaign and who co-founded The Baroque Artists of Champaign Urbana.
